In this issue we will continue four lines of ministry. The first line--The History of the Lord's Recovery--contains chapters 5 through 8 of The Kernel of the Bible, which are in volume 1 of The Collected Works of Witness Lee, 1977. This section includes messages concerning how to eat Christ as the choice portion of the harvest; eating Christ as the solid food; the harvest, the chosen place, and the release of the spirit; and captivity and recovery. The second line--Words for New Believers--contains chapters 10 through 13 of The Crucial Revelation of Life in the Scriptures, which are in volume 2 of The Collected Works of Witness Lee, 1969. These chapters cover the seed of life and the Spirit of life. The third line--Maturing in Life--contains chapters 11 through 14 of Perfecting Training, which are in volume 1 of The Collected Works of Witness Lee, 1980. These chapters contain messages on dealing with peculiarity, the lacking of living Christ for the building up of the Body, practicing to live Christ, and a habit to live Christ. The fourth line--The High Peak of the Divine Revelation--contains chapters 8 through 11 of Crystallization-study of the Gospel of John, which are in volume 4 of The Collected Works of Witness Lee, 1994–1997. These chapters speak of the consummated Spirit, the consummation of the complete salvation of Christ, the glorification of Christ by God with His glory, and the organism of the processed and consummated Triune God and the believers' oneness incorporated with the oneness of the Triune God.

Muallif haqida

Born in 1905 in northern China, Witness Lee was raised in a Christian family and educated in English-speaking schools. At the age of 19 he believed in the Lord Jesus Christ and consecrated himself to preach the gospel. Early in his service, Witness Lee met Watchman Nee and began to labor together with him. In 1949 Witness Lee was sent by Watchman Nee to Taiwan to ensure that the things delivered to them by the Lord would be preserved. In 1962 Witness Lee came to the United States and began to minister here. He ministered in weekly conferences, delivering several thousand spoken messages until 1997. He gave his last public conference in February 1997 at the age of 91. His major work, Life-Study of the Bible, comprises over 25,000 pages of commentary on every book of the Bible from the perspective of the believers' enjoyment and experience of God's divine life in Christ through the Spirit.
