About this ebook

Selena Contreras has always been the girl who holds everything together. But now, she’s daring to dream of something more.

In the quaint coastal town of Superiore Bay, tradition runs deep—and so do family rivalries. For generations, the Contrerases and the Ashfords have been at odds, their feud as much a part of the town as the rocky shoreline. But Selena is tired of scraping by at her family’s orchard, pouring every ounce of herself into a legacy that’s slipping through her fingers.

With a plan to transform Orchard Hill into a thriving destination—complete with cider tastings, a cozy café, and homemade pies—Selena sets her sights on a nearby parcel of land. There’s just one problem: it belongs to the Ashfords.

Conner Ashford is everything she’s supposed to avoid—wealthy, polished, and frustratingly unshakable. But as their paths collide, long-held assumptions begin to crumble, and Selena discovers unexpected kindness beneath his sharp edges.

As small-town gossip stirs and family pressure builds, Selena must decide if she's brave enough to fight for her vision of the future—even if it means forging her own path, and letting her heart lead the way.

The Winemaker is a warm, uplifting romantic women’s fiction story about family, ambition, and finding joy where you least expect it.

I love a good rival families book and this one did not disappoint, I especially loved how what I thought would happen due to wee drop of information didn't and what did was so much better!! Selena has got sass and determination and she needs it not only to deal with her family and work her family orchard, but to also dealing with most of the Ashford's, but not all. Connor and Carter are nothing alike, Carter doesn't care about the feud his and Selena's family have kept going for generations they have been best friends forever while Connor doesn't like the Contreras he also doesn't care whether Carter sees them. This is the perfect mix of a slow burn attraction, feuding families, meddling townsfolk as well as laughs, frustrations, learning to push aside self doubt and believe in yourself and best of all allowing yourself to try and make your dreams a reality. I received a free copy of this book via Booksprout and am voluntarily leaving a review.

This is the 3rd book I've read written by Michelle MacQueen; I can’t wait to read more of her books. This is the 1st book in the Maine Mornings Series; it is a stand-alone book. Serena & Carter have been best friends for years even though their families are rivals and constantly feuding over the vineyards. When she inherits half of her family’s apple orchid she thinks she can save it but Connor, Carters brother is standing in her way. About the author

Michelle is just a golden retriever mom living on a family compound in rural Ohio. A simple, sweet life filled with writing days, her pup, and plenty of iced chai tea lattes.

She writes a variety of things including fantasy romance, sweet contemporary romance, spicy romance, and has even dabbled in dystopian. She believes changing things up and taking risks stretches her writing muscles and makes her a better author.

But more than that, writing about various human experiences helps her be a better daughter, a better aunt, a better sister, and a better friend.

Melissa is a former interior designer living just outside Atlanta Georgia with her sister and a very needy mini Bernedoodle obsessed with belly rubs.

When she’s not writing, she enjoys gardening, swimming, and collecting pretty books for her never ending TBR. (Collecting books and reading them are two separate hobbies and she will die on that hill.) Her favorite pastime is reading in her chaise lounge, snuggling a warm pup, and drinking iced chai (she blames Michelle for this addiction).

Melissa writes fantasy romance, urban fantasy, and Norse mythology. She also writes contemporary romance of all sorts as Ann Maree Craven.

Melissa believes in stories that make you think and she loves twisty plots and playing with foreshadowing, leaving clues and hints for the careful reader. She draws inspiration from her background in architecture and interior design to help her with the small details in world building and scene settings to create a stronger story.
