Just an OK book 1 of 9 for this Michelle Pillow's series Dragon Lords set in the Qurilixen World. Some parts funny, some childish. Some parts were too slow, some parts flew past. Prince Ulan is a dragon shifter and heir to throne. His crystal lite up when he saw Morrigan, which means she is to be his wife. She, however, doesn't think so. Little drama, some sizzle and steam. I received a free copy of this book and am voluntarily leaving a review.

I started reviewing this series (and this book) in 2016 and the BARBARIAN PRINCE has remained my favorite character in my favorite book since then! (I must admit the cute guy on the cover may be a major factor in that.) The world building is really good. The characters are believable and many are very likable. I already have my favorites! Grab your copy and start to build your own memories. These stories will definitely have a place in your reading library for years to come – I’m proof of that! And like a fine wine, this author still keeps getting better and better!

I adore the Qurilixen world stories and Barbarian Prince was no exception. I was kinda peeved by Morrigan's character through 1/2 the story, Prince Ualan definitely had his hands full with her rude & childish behavior. But the couple finally grew on me. The audio made a great listen and overall the story was very enjoyable!!
