Life really can change in a flash...

The next thing she knows, she is waking up in a hospital bed – but in someone else’s body...

Split between her old life and that of Lauren Richardson – wife and mother of four young children – Jessica must grapple with temper tantrums and marriage mishaps, whilst desperately trying to get back to Frankie the terrier and a blossoming relationship.

But as she learns more about the woman in whose designer shoes she now stands, she begins to discover new things about herself, too.

Will Jessica get back to life as she knows it? And will she even want to?

I loved this book such a different read to what I normally would go for. Very easy reading and draws you in almost immediately and keeps you guessing with its unusual style of polt. I've so far read all three of her books that have been released in the UK. All different in there own way but all equally as good. Definitely worth giving it a try I picked this up on a whim and I'm glad I did.

I loved the whole book and devoured it in an afternoon/evening/night! My only criticism is the poor grammar makes it a little hard to read in places but it didn't put me off. It's the first I've read from this author and I'm off now to see what else she has to offer :)

Poor use of grammer and punctuation too distracting. Had to give up after a couple of pages

About the author

Melanie Rose was an avid reader from an early age and found herself looking at the world around her and wondering 'what if?' She began writing as a teenager, progressing to short stories and articles for magazines and newspapers. She trained as a nursery nurse and later became a play therapist on the children's ward at the Royal Marsden Hospital, continuing to write in her spare time.

She self-published her first novel which was voted one of the favourite reads of the year by listeners of Radio 4's Open Book programme.

She now lives in Surrey with her husband and four sons, who, along with many of the children she has cared for, provide much inspiration for her books.
