Wole Soboyejo is a Professor in the Department of Mechanical and Aerospace Engineering and the Princeton Materials Institute at Princeton University, New Jersey. The author or coauthor of more than 250 professional publications, he is a member of the Materials Research Society, the American Society of Mechanical Engineers, the Minerals, Metals & Materials Society and the Society for Biomaterials. Dr. Soboyejo is a recipient of two National Investigator Awards (NSF and ONR) and ASM's Bradley Stoughton Award for Young Teachers of Materials Science. Dr. Soboyejo received the B.Sc. degree (1985) in mechanical engineering from King's College, London University, England, and the Ph.D. degree (1988) in materials science and metallurgy from Cambridge University, England.
