Three college friends learned how their combined magic could go terribly wrong. Their dorm caught fire and burned when their wishes ceremony candles sparked and began an inferno. Reunited after twenty years, their magic is stronger but not better as evidenced by the results. A tense drama of unfolding consequences and a surprise ending. Very good reading. I voluntarily read and reviewed an advanced copy of this book. All thoughts and opinions are my own.

Maureen Kilmer graduated from Miami University in Oxford, Ohio, and lives in the Chicago suburbs with her husband and three children. She thankfully has not had to battle the forces of darkness (unless going to Costco on a Saturday counts). She is also the author of Suburban Hell, her horror debut.
