Throughout his time spent with children who were potentially Autistic, he was able to observe their quirks, their communication skills, and their other misunderstandings of their fellow peers, teachers, parents, and themselves. As an adult, he experienced his first course dealing with the DSM-V; the generalities of the Autism Spectrum baffled him and he knew there had to be something done. Working closely with an Autism-specific research facility, he was able to develop a novel that takes in the biggest issues of Autism and the constant struggles and put them into a story. About the author
Mr. McDonald, a Masters student of Professional Counseling at Grand Canyon University and holds a Bachelors of General Psychology degree. He spent eight years as a US Navy Submariner and now spends his days working with veterans as part of a local VA support staff.
