About this ebook

She loved a man the world taught her to hate.

A dangerous love. A war-torn world. A choice that changes everything.

Berlin, 1939. Veronica never expected to fall for a man like Hans—quiet, intense, and wearing the uniform of the Gestapo. But behind the iron exterior is a soul at war with itself, and a heart that beats only for her.

As their romance deepens, so does the shadow of conflict. Hans is bound by duty to a regime he no longer believes in. Veronica is hiding secrets of her own. Their love is not just forbidden—it’s dangerous.

When war explodes across Europe, they are torn apart by forces beyond their control. Yet their bond refuses to break. In a world consumed by betrayal, violence, and fear, Hans and Veronica cling to one fragile truth: love may be their only salvation.

"Roses and Chocolates" is a gripping historical romance about impossible choices, moral conflict, and the power of love in humanity’s darkest hour.
