About this ebook

He married the wrong twin!

Six years after Cole Berringer goes west to build a new life, he writes to his childhood sweetheart, Sarah Main, and proposes marriage. But instead of the woman he left behind, her twin sister, Elizabeth, arrives in Colorado to take her place.

Elizabeth Main has loved Cole for years, but has always known she isn’t the woman he loves, so when her twin refuses his marriage proposal, she grabs at the chance to make her dreams come true.

As the weeks go by, Cole and Elizabeth grow closer, and Elizabeth is convinced it’s only a matter of time until Cole returns her love.

But then, Sarah arrives …

Dumbest book ever. A twin substitutes for her sister to marry a guy out West because she loves him but the sister he has asked to marry him doesn't love him. When she arrives in the West she tells Cole who she really is. He goes through with the wedding anyway but has her stay in a separate bedroom at his ranch. She works her tail off cleaning, scrubbing and cooking to win his love. At this point the author decided not to write anymore so she has the couple riding in a buckboard patting her belly because she's pregnant. I guess it was all that strong cleaning fluid! Awful book, but it was free so I guess you get what you pay for.

About the author

Margery Scott is the author of more than twenty-five novels, novellas and short stories in various genres. Although she grew up as far away from the old west as possible, Margery has always admired the men and women who settled the untamed land west of the Mississippi. Glued to TV westerns like Maverick, Rawhide and Gunsmoke, and reading stories of Annie Oakley, Roy Rogers and Rin Tin Tin, it was only natural that when she started writing, she wrote what she loved to watch and read.

She now lives on a lake in Canada with her husband, and when she’s not writing or travelling in search of the perfect setting for her next novel, you can usually find her wielding a pair of knitting needles or a pool cue.
