About this ebook

About the author

Manu Sharma's compelling Mahabharata Retelling presents a unique Karna Autobiography, diving deep into Karna's Story from a singular Karna Perspective. This immersive Indian Epic Fiction explores Ancient Indian Life, starkly portraying the impact of the Caste System India, the pervasive Social Stigma faced by the Sutaputra, and the harsh realities of Caste Discrimination India. The narrative traces Karna's arduous Warrior Journey and Warrior Life, chronicling his path from a humble Rural India Setting and the love of his Foster Family, Adhiratha Radha, to his Ambition Rise and eventual coronation as Anga King. The book vividly captures the intrigue of Hastinapur Politics and broader Ancient Politics, focusing on Karna's pivotal Duryodhana Friendship and the intense Pandavas Rivalry. Key events are recounted, including the dramatic Draupadi Swayamvar, the infamous Dice Game Loss with its devastating Dice Game Consequence, and the bitter Draupadi Humiliation that fuels Vengeance Motivation. Sharma weaves in the influence of significant Mahabharata Characters such as Guru Drona Training, Guru Kripa, Shakuni Influence, Vidura Counsel, and highlights Bhishma Role in the unfolding Epic Narrative. Karna's Identity Struggle forms the emotional core, grappling with the burden of his Kunti Secret and the mystery of his Fate and Destiny. His pursuit of mastery leads him to Ashram Life, rigorous Weapon Training, seeking guidance that ultimately results in the legendary Parasurama Curse. The text also subtly includes the parallel Ekalavya Story, further illustrating the injustices of the Indian Caste system. This Mythological Novel is a powerful Indian Myth Retelling that delves into Ancient Indian Combat, Royal Succession Drama, and the complex interplay of Dharma Duty versus political expediency, questioning traditional notions of Dharma vs Politics. It offers a profound Character Study, contrasting Rural vs Royal Life and featuring the mythological significance of the Ganga River Story. Set against the backdrop hinting at the eventual Kurukshetra War Context, this Hindi Historical Fiction reimagines Indian Royalty and the enduring consequences of Loyalty and Betrayal, making it a compelling Mahabharata Reimagined.
