Great novelist. She really brings you to the real Manchester area and the Hulme Crescent estate in the early 80s. Have read most of her books and I highly recommend any of her books. Once you pick up a book you can't put it down.

Loved it but went on a little too much and predicted what was going to happen but not a bad read love Heller books

Started off really good but became very predictable. Not one of her best
About the author
Mandasue Heller was born in Cheshire and moved to Manchester in 1982. She spent ten years living in the notorious Hulme Crescents which have since become the background to her novels. Not only is she a talented writer, but she has also sung in cabaret and rock groups, seventies soul cover bands and blues jam bands.
