À propos de cet e-book

AN ENTIRE GALAXY WAS IN DANGER!

Somewhere, somehow, the first moves had been made—there was a pattern beginning to emerge. Someone, or something, was on the way to wresting supreme power over all the planets currently controlled by Mankind—and the Interstellar Corps seemed helpless to meet this threat. No “normal” man could hope to penetrate the vast conspiracy of it all. But...the Corps did have one man who wasn’t normal, a man who possessed a very strange weapon......his mind. “Exciting...strange...extraordinary!”

These were just a few of the words used to describe “Man of Many Minds” when it was released back in 1953. It’s an amazing tale that can be aptly described as one of the most unusual science fiction adventures ever published.

À propos de l'auteur

Edward Everett Evans (November 30, 1893 - December 2, 1958) was an American science fiction author and fan.

Evans entered late into writing and publishing, with his first genre story Guaranteed appearing in 1947.

His notable works include the novels Man of Many Minds (1953), The Planet Mappers (1955), Alien Minds (1955), and the posthumously-published collaboration with E. E. “Doc” Smith Masters of Space (1976); and the collection Food for Demons (1971).

Film historian and genre writer Forest J. Ackerman also created the “Edward Everett Evans Big Heart Award” to honor “outstanding service” to the science fiction field. This award is given annually at the Hugo Awards ceremony at Worldcon, and nearly always to a senior fan.

E. Everett Evans passed away on December 2nd, 1958 aged 65.
