A good read from M J Arlidge but not quite up to the standard of the earlier books in the Helen Grace series. The story is good, as are the characters, and it's worth reading, especially if you have read the others so you can find out what happens. But for some reason it just doesn't seem to flow in quite the same way as the preceding books.

Enjoyed this and keep reading the Helen Grace books one after the other so that says a lot. I do, however find myself having to look up a lots of words that the author uses despite considering myself relatively well educated! Great suspense and excitement but not quite at the level of Mark Billinghams DI Thorne series.
