About this eBook

A lonely barista’s dreams come true when her celebrity crush asks her to pose as his fake girlfriend for the paparazzi.

Boone Sheridan is a TV heartthrob with a public relations problem. He needs to clean up his image and create a distraction ASAP. What better way to do that than pretending he’s settled down with a nice, wholesome, ordinary girlfriend?

Eve Tracey is as ordinary as they come—a pre-school teacher and part-time barista working two jobs to make ends meet. She also happens to be a recovering Boone Sheridan superfan. So when the object of her former obsession walks into her coffee shop and makes her an unbelievable offer, how can she refuse?

Acting like she’s in love with Boone Sheridan is no problem for Eve. But she’s read enough fake dating fanfics to know that being on the receiving end of Boone’s pretend affection is almost certainly a recipe for heartbreak—and she’s too realistic to believe the fantasy will extend any further than that.

There’s nothing for a starstruck fangirl to do but brace herself for the pain of letting Boone go at the end of their temporary arrangement.

Loved getting back into this series with Boone and Eve's story. They had a sweet story and it was a great addition to the series. The only reason I gave a 4 star vs 5 star was because there were a couple points in the story that could have been developed further. I felt like the conflict resolution in a couple areas were rushed. I still enjoyed reading and still recommend.

This story was as sweet as candy. The story of a tv star and a young woman who was still trying to figure herself out who enter into a fake relationship for PR reasons. There were definite similarities between this story and the last book in this series, and yet, they were also completely different. As in the last book, the author has chosen to address a significant issue in an unhealthy former relationship, which impacts how open our hero is to making their arrangement into a genuine relationship. The heroine has her own demons that impact her decisions, and the pair have to do some soul-searching in order to reach their happily ever after. I have stated that this story is sweet, and it is. The hero and heroine are so cute I just wanted to figuratively eat them up! I will note that saying this story was sweet doesn’t negate the fact that there is steamy chemistry between these characters. The story is also not frothy. The characters lives had substance and the book really discusses relationship abuse. All in all, after reading this book I felt happy, and I suspect it would do so for you as well. I am voluntarily submitting this review after reading an advanced complementary copy.

Super cute story that has a little of everything- stars falling in love with regular people, a fake relationship that turns real, and plenty of emotion.
