About this ebook

A Thrilling Quest to Save a Princess with Magical Powers

In The Castle of Llyr, the third book in Lloyd Alexander's beloved The Chronicles of Prydain series, Princess Eilonwy must leave her friend Taran, Assistant Pig-Keeper, and her cherished home, Caer Dallben, to train as a proper lady on the Isle of Mona. But becoming a dignified young maiden is the least of her worries, as the evil enchantress Queen Achren seeks to harness Eilonwy's magical powers for her own nefarious purposes.

When Eilonwy falls under a powerful spell, Taran and his companions embark on a perilous journey to rescue her. As a mere Assistant Pig-Keeper, Taran must find the courage and strength to stand against the most wicked enchantress in all of Prydain. This thrilling fantasy adventure will captivate young readers with its enchanting characters, heart-pounding action, and timeless themes of friendship, bravery, and the power of goodness over evil.
