Acerca del autor

Robert is a novelist, poet, and climate activist. His first novel, HIDE, is available on Amazon. Poetry and more information about Rob can be found on rjbonney.com. He lives in Cambridge, Massachusetts.

Paul is a retired IT Project Manager and father of six children, grandfather of eight. His writing earned him three First Place Awards in the Write! Canada Competition for Short Fiction, Stage Script and Children’s Poetry. Paul earned his BSc and MBA degrees at Western University. He sits on the Board of The Word Guild, a Christian writers’ organization. He lives in Ontario.

Elaine has had works published in several anthologies and magazines and has won prizes for her short fiction and poetry. She is an active member of the OWP  and, before that, she was an inaugural member of Writers Ink in Caledon, Ontario. She is a graduate of York University, Toronto, and Mount Saint Vincent University, Halifax.

Lisa writes short fiction and spoken word poetry inspired by the world around her. A digital marketing strategist and community builder by trade, she strives to honor her relationship with the readers and listeners of her work. Lisa is in the early stage of building Collaboreader.com, a safe and supportive space for emerging writers and avid readers to connect, collaborate and create. 

For over 30 years Mary has worked in the elementary school system as a teacher and Teacher-Librarian.  She is the mother of four who enjoys family time, reading, writing and connecting with the writers in the OWP

V. Holman is a former high school teacher, nanny, and newspaper reporter, and is a versatile writer passionate about fiction, non-fiction, poetry, and plays. Drawing on diverse life experiences, he crafts compelling stories that engage and inspire readers across genres

Virginia is an Associate of the Ontario College of Art where she studied Fine Art and specialized in Sculpture. She earned a B.A., In Art and Art History and a B.A., in Education. She has been a Professor of Visual Art for 30 years at her local College. She developed a desire to write which she has pursued with the support and encouragement of the OWP members.

Elan originally hails from the East Coast but moved to Ontario to pursue a career in law enforcement. Now retired her life is dominated by taking care of her children, grandchildren and assorted pets

Marilyn was born and raised in Montreal, Quebec, before moving to Ontario. She has been writing for over twenty years, and is a published author of three elementary science books and many magazine articles while she worked in administration jobs. She is a freelance Proofreader and Editor. 

Pete is a retired engineer who believes that it's never too late for a fun childhood. Three years ago, Pete started writing short stories, and he can't thank the OWP Group enough for their technical feedback and positive encouragement.

Craig is a transplanted Scot living in Canada. A prolific writer of fiction and poetry his work has appeared in dozens of publications both online and print. He was the City of Boston’s Artist of the month as well as being nominated for Pushcarts in both Fiction and poetry. Most recently he is the editor and publisher of The Liquid Sky Journal. Shani's life is a series of fortunately unfortunate events or unfortunately fortunate events that included moving to the wild grasslands of Saskatchewan. It is here that she discovered her travelling roadshow. Shani's entourage currently includes a dwarven blacksmith, an ironskull tripod, a shadow hunter, and a magical weight changing curling rock, with Shani being the resident bard.

Mike Shepherd is a father and professional engineer who has spent the last decade honing his writing skills in classes at the University of Toronto and a weekly critique group. His latest short story is The Car Dealer.

Anke Tuinman, of The Netherlands earned an Honors Degree in English Literature and Philosophy from Western University and received T.E.S.L. certification from the University of Toronto. Her studies and teaching experience together have shaped the expression of her identity and connection through fiction. Her work reflects a fascination with fictional narrative, voice and the unspoken threads that bind people together. She has been published in a print anthology (Polar Expressions) and in a self-published ChapBook compilation with other writers.

Elisabeth was born in Austria before moving to West Berlin at eighteen. After twelve years she immigrated to Canada.  For the past eight years she has been writing short stories. One of them turned into a fantasy novel named “Talitha”. The book is about a poor peasant girl who saved a dragon’s life. They became friends. It is a book about adventure, fantasy and her rise to power.
