About this ebook

When survival means trusting your enemy, and love means choosing between freedom and fate.

Brynn survived the brutality of Norseland only to wake on the infamous Reaper’s ship. Dead set on revenge, she seeks the notorious captain to settle a score, only to be swept overboard during a storm, left to drown in the unforgiving sea. When Brynn washes ashore on a mysterious island with nothing but determination and a fierce will to live, she faces a new kind of hell . . . and an unexpected savior.

Killian, the infamous Reaper of the North Sea, never planned to be stranded with a sharp-tongued thrall who challenges everything he believes about duty and destiny. A captain bound by obligations that run deeper than gold, he’s built his reputation on fear and ruthless precision, not on protecting stubborn women who refuse to stay saved.

But as they fight to survive the island’s dangers—and Brynn discovers the Reaper is hiding far more than his true identity—something ignites between them that’s as dangerous as it is undeniable. Brynn sees past the fearsome captain to the man bound by impossible choices, while Killian discovers that his little Skadi might be the key to breaking free from the chains of his past.

Woven with Norse mythology and set in a dystopian world transformed by ancient catastrophe, Sea of Storms is a soul-stirring tale of enemies thrust together—where choosing love means embracing a destiny neither expected, and freedom comes with the weight of revolution.

Sea of Storms continues the unforgettable journey through the Ruined Lands, perfect for fans of survival romance and epic adventure.

I had so much fun with this book, I kept having to force myself to stop reading so that I could get "life" done first. Where City of Ruin is dark and gritty, Sea of Storms is a vibrant adventure across the vast expanses of ocean and unexplored lands. There is action, there is bloodshed, there are clashes and there is friendship, loyalty, and unbroken bonds. Lindsey masters her skill as the emotional puppeteer of her readers. If you haven't started this series yet, you really need to get on it!

The characters are well-developed The setting is beautifully developed. You can envision exactly what the terrain is like, the feel of the air on your own face, and the smells that surround the characters are aptly fleshed out and definitely allow for immersion in the book. The plot twists are fantastic. One you may see coming as it is logical for how the story is progressing, but the others caught me by surprise and enriched the plot line tremendously. 100% worth the download!

Brynn and the Reaper are perfect together, balancing each other’s strengths and weaknesses. I definitely recommend this book.
