Fake Dating on Thin Ice: An Off-Limits-Opposites-Attract Romantic Comedy

Another really fun addition to the MB series. A complete stand alone with only small references to the previous character. Incredible you is full of the great funny banter that I have come to love in the MB books. Lots of steamy moments that leave you hot an bothered. Plenty of ex cray cray drama to keep you turning the page to see what will happen next. 95% of the book runs really smooth with a great fast paced action and humor to keep your attention. The ending feels a bit rushed and i lost interest in the epilogue, just skimming as i felt it dragged on to long past a natural conclusion. Shane the "Miraculous Mess" is a temporary addition to MB, bringing a good image to Jake "the Dragon" after his Crazy ex is giving him lots of bad press and won't move on. Their story is steamy right from the start and full of great laughs. The chemistry between the two is instant and makes for a really great read. While trying to show Keri he has fully moved on leads it's own drama for both Shane and Jake as the two emerge as a love at first site relationship that goes beyond MB and into real world. I really enjoyed this story and look forward to more books of this type and hopefully one with a ton more text ;) ;) Advanced copy received for my reading pleasure

Incredible You is another spectacular story by Lili Valente. It is filled with sass, humor, sexiness, banter, danger and love. Everything we have come to love and respect from Lili Valente, brilliance. We first met Shane (the vet) in Spectacular Rascal. In Incredible You, she is the new addition to MBC. Shane is one tough chick and is not afraid to tell it like it is, but also has a very giving side that always wants to help. That is how Bash was able to persuade her to join the team and help out NHL hottie Jake Falcone. Jake needs to get his crazy, mentally unstable ex girlfriend out of his life once and for all. What better way then convince her he has moved on with a new woman, his new girlfriend Shane. Jake's ex has made it her mission to ruin his image by making up lies of abuse. Shane is reluctant to believe that the rumors are false. So when her conversation about how she feels is overheard by Jake, well not the kind of first meeting you expect. However, Shane soon finds out that Jake is really a great guy who got involved with the wrong kind of crazy. As Shane and Jake get to know each other better what turns out as make believe turns to "Oh So Right." The undeniable attraction that Jake and Shane have for each other is of the tracks and they can not deny what they want anymore. However, someone doesn't want them to have their happily ever after and do whatever she has to to make sure that doesn't happen. Well done once again Lili Valente. I loved Jake and Shane as a couple and have added them to my list of favorite couples. I especially loved the epilogues, funny as ever Lili, and brilliant.

And when her feelings for Jake become much more personal than business will she be able to draw the line? What I love about this book, besides for the ridiculously hot sex, is the humor between Jake and Shane. Lili Valente has such a talent for incorporating funny situations, comments and conversations into her books. There are actual laugh-out-loud scenes that flow seamlessly into the action and passion of this romance novel. I would highly recommend this book and although it can be read as a standalone, I would suggest reading Magnificent Bastard and Spectacular Rascal first, just so you have a better feel for some of the characters.
