My first book by Janet Dailey & she didn’t disappoint! Kept you intrigued making you wonder what will happen next with some romance thrown in there too.There is a mystery quality to it. There are so many players you really don’t know who murdered Frank. This is a series & she makes you want to read the next book to find out what happens to the ranch & other elements of the story such as the people & their lives. There are so many avenues for the next book to take. I enjoyed it! I’ll read more!
