How to put this nicely, because there were good points and the storyline was great so I don't want to discourage anyone. It was a 400-page book that could have been done in 200 pages, there were too many unnecessary details and repetitiveness that just dragged the story on but at the same time, certain parts of the story didn't get enough attention. For example, the grandmother is rushed to the hospital, you skipped over what could have been a touching heartfelt scene pivotal to the storyline. The whole story was like that, thing's that should have had more details were skipped yet thing's that didn't need to so detailed where way over detailed. also needed more editing especially at the end during the run, you mixed up the characters Derek and Jessie.
