Alasdair MacIntyre is one of the major philosophers of the late twentieth and early twenty-first century. After Virtue, first published in 1981, remains the book for which he is best known but, as this volume testifies, his phenomenal output extends over a period of seven decades. Ron Beadle is Professor of Organisation and Business Ethics at Northumbria University, UK. His research has appeared in Business Ethics Quarterly and American Catholic Philosophical Quarterly, amongst others. Geoff Moore is Professor of Business Ethics at Durham University Business School, UK. He is the author of Virtue at Work: Ethics for Individuals, Managers, and Organizations (2017).
