This is the third novella in the Guarding Their Dragon Mate serial, a six episodes long reverse harem #WhyChoose story. This novella may include any of these elements: steamy scenes, ‘I need tissues NOW’ moments, cries of ‘why, oh, why’ and cliffhangers that make you bite your nails (and curse the author).

This story takes place in the same world as the Lughnasadh Elite Academy and happens after the events from the other series. Both series can be read stand-alone, they are about different characters, but they are connected.

This should be three books not six short ones all left on cliffhangers. It’s annoying. I’m not even sure I wat to keep reading them until they are all out. We FINALLY got some sex and established the hoarde but there’s not enough time in each book to do much. This is just a marketing ploy to make people buy more books. Not impressed.

I am really enjoying the character and plot development in Sophia and her mates' story. This is well written and has a great continuation of the storyline. There is amazing emotions and twists.

Sophia has returned home and is dealing with her dragon hoard who seem to want to kill each other as they are adjusting in their relationship, while she is also trying to organize the town in their rebuilding mission, along with caring for a little orphaned female dragon she found hungry and alone in the streets. And of course she is kept busy trying to regain the trust of old friends she had left behind. There are secrets which make things much more difficult. And issues that must be dealt with. Will she be able to lead everyone in the right direction to restore some order? What’s going on with the missing dragons? This was a well-paced story line with interesting characters. Grab your copy and see if Sophia can accomplish some of her many needed tasks to get the town running smoothly again and to find out what happened to the survivors and the missing.

Layla Heart (side-pen name of Skylar Heart) loves sexy romances and has a particular soft spot for broken boys and their damaged girls. When she’s not reading or writing steamy stories, she loves to nap with her adorable cats, preferably under a fluffy blanket, and play videogames.
