Old World lamplighters once lit the streets of cities like Constantinople, Alexandria, and Rome. Inhabiting a luminous space between realism and parable, between an all-too-familiar contemporary New Zealand and a magical otherworld, Lamplighter is as captivating as it is unsettling.
