No Spoilers. I wish I could get my time back. I knew it was coming, and sure enough, this author got too metaphysical for his own good. Huge, gaping plot holes abound in this one, and the ending is just cringe. Series started out really strong, but then I guess the author thought himself into a corner or something. I don't know what happened, if he couldn't meet deadline or what, but the last two books just feel so half assed. Anna and Alex are written truthful to their ages (being young adults) but the author just steadfastly refused to punish that absolute IDIOCY behind all of their decisions. The author wrote the protagonist to be this white knight hero who overcomes his adversity and just has girls falling all over him, before becoming some badass who can go toe to toe with hardened Raiders. He's sixteen. SIXTEEN. As testament to how this author failed, we're supposed to love darling good boy Alex, but I've never hated a main character more.
