Excellent literary novel with hints of science fiction and high doses of dark humor. A tongue in cheek satire about the silliness and seriousness of religion with jabs at communism, capitalism, dictatorships, lemming mentality and the hypocrisy of government. Although enjoyable from beginning to end, I thought the journey was way more satisfying than the destination. The ending seemed a bit clunky to me. If the author had a message to deliver at the end, it was lost to me. But the story as a whole is nevertheless engrossing and worth the ride.

This book was very interesting. Althoght hard to get in the begging, at the end almost everything ties up. I would recommend this to anyone with a seventh grade education. Thank you.

Kurt Vonnegut is brilliant. He is innocent yet sexy, he is on topic with women, and is completely lost with ambitious men. He takes no theological standpoint, but his words are carefully chosen.
