Angels make one of the most intriguing subjects one could study. According to the Bible angels have helped to shape the course of human history &continue to do so today. Consider the fallen angel in the Garden of Eden who slyly engineered the moral fall of the entire human race (Genesis 3). There have been thousands of angelic encounters throughout history—good & evil—in the lives of ordinary and famous individuals. The word "angel" appears some 300 times in 24 books of the Bible (not including the synonyms used for angels). As people are searching for answers & meaning to life angels are thought to play a vital role in providing those answers. John Ankerberg is founder and president of the award-winning John Ankerberg Show has three earned degrees: an MA in church history and the philosophy of Christian thought an MDiv from Trinity Evangelical Divinity School and a DMin from Luther Rice Seminary. He has authored co-authored and/or edited more than 143 books including the 2-million-selling “Facts On” series of apologetic books. John Weldon has authored and co-authored numerous books on cults and the occult and has master’s degrees in divinity and Christian apologetics and a doctorate in comparative religion.
