About the author

Kenny Ruiz was born in Granada, Spain, in 1980, and began to study the art of comics in Barcelona. After finishing his studies, he worked as an illustrator for Disney in the Salvador Simó Artwork studio. His body of work includes "Barcelona," an award winner at the Barcelona Comics Fair, and "Le Chasseur d'éclairs," both published with Paquet, as well as "Le Mystère Nemo" (Delcourt). In recent years he has further established himself in the world of Franco-Belgian comics with publisher Dupuis, with his contributions to "Magic 7" (Europe Comics in English), alongside scriptwriter Kid Toussaint, and his work as the artist for "Télémaque" ("Telemachus," Europe Comics), teaming once more with Toussaint.
