About this ebook

In pre-Civil War America, the small town of Graham, in Adams County, Pennsylvania, lies just north of the Mason Dixon line. There are many secrets surrounding the town’s founding, but its mission is clear: to be a haven for citizens of all races.

These erotic tales explore the blossoming love of three couples, during a time of upheaval and uncertainty. Meet the men who will risk everything to protect the women they love: The Passionate Protectors.

Enticed

With no other physicians nearby, Dr. Jonathan Doyle is often overwhelmed by his workload. When the runaway Naomi Weathers faints at his doorstep, he treats her malady and sees a solution to his own. Can this beautiful woman, with the blood of Zulu healers flowing in her veins, escape her past to become his nurse and more?

I kept waiting for the other shoe to fall. there were minor obstacles in the lovers' way but no big roadblock through which the lovers had to fight. Raised in Jim Crow south more than 60 years ago, I cannot believe all the bigoted offenders saw the error of their ways in such a short period of time. Pig-headed people don't change so easily. Nonetheless the story is well written and an enjoyable if implausible tale well told. it's an entertaining fantasy and I recommend it

This book is a great book and it doesn't have hardly any bad language in it. The sex scenes are done with dignity and respect. It alludes to what happens on the plantation but doesn't go into details, which is good.

a sweet, interesting lovely story, a bit short, a bit scant on emotions, the prose a bit stiff, but totally engaging, and makes me want to read the rest of the series.

About the author

I’m Kianna Alexander. I’m a mother, sister, friend, and avid reader. I also write like my life depended on it, because, in a way, it does.

I’ve been writing since I was a shy, introverted child of about ten. My stories provided an escape from a world that sometimes seemed harsh and uncaring. When I wasn’t writing, I was reading- devouring R.L. Stine’s Goosebumps and Fear Street Novels, Sweet Valley High Books, and the occasional Nancy Drew mystery. I was in high school before I discovered romance novels. I perused my mother’s untouched collection of Harlequin novels, and read the occasional clench-covered tome in the library. But at sixteen, I picked up Beverly Jenkin’s Night Song. That book changed my life, and I think that’s when the writing bug first bit me.
