Ausgehend von der Tatsache, dass Frauen mit Familie statistisch betrachtet nur verschwindend gering in die Leitungspositionen von Organisationen eintreten, gelingt es dieser Untersuchung zu zeigen, dass es zum großen Teil mikropolitische Ursachen sind, die die Vereinbarkeit von Familie und Karriere behindern. Bei dem aus den Ergebnissen entwickelten erwachsenenpädagogischen Lösungsansatz, dem "(Familien-)Frauen-Support-Projekt", handelt es sich um ein systemisches Konzept, das nicht nur bei den Frauen ansetzt, sondern das ganze Organisationssystem mit einbezieht. Dieses Konzept kann in jeder Organisation umgesetzt werden, um vermehrt Frauen in höheren Positionen zu etablieren.
