About this ebook

Park Ranger Henry Shore has been fighting large rogue, blood-thirsty, dinosaurs for over a decade…and now, finally, they have been eradicated. Or have they? Henry works hard to keep the secret of his amazing little dinosaur friend, Oscar, and Oscar’s family, from the world; knowing the highly intelligent telepathic creatures must be protected for many reasons, especially because if the hostile aliens ever return, Oscar is the key to communicating with them. Last time that communication saved the world. But now, suddenly, more malevolent large dinosaurs have shown up near the northern boundary of his park, and Henry, once more, is asked for his help to find, and to exterminate, them before they kill any more innocent humans. But when he finds the first large dinosaur, it is already dead. And then the second large dinosaur, also dead. How? And what is this virulent infection that is killing them? Now nine books in series.

I was so excited to discover a 9th "Dinosaur Lake" book and I devoured it in one day, of almost nonstop reading. This series is my favorite creature feature ever, full of bloodcurdling adventure. Our heroes are again on the run from killer dinosaurs, while helping the Oscars clan.

About the author

Since childhood I’ve been an artist and worked as a graphic designer in the corporate world and for newspapers for twenty-three years before I quit to write full time. But I’d already begun writing novels at 21, over fifty-four years ago now, and now have had thirty-eight (romantic horror, thrillers, SF Thrillers, horror novels, romantic SF horror, romantic suspense, romantic time travel, historical romance, and murder mysteries) novels, and thirteen short stories, published from many traditional publishers since 1984. But since 2012 I’ve gone into self-publishing in a big way; and upon getting some of my older books’ full rights back from all my old publishers, self-published all of them along with my newer novels. My eight Dinosaur Lake novels and ten Spookie Town Murder Mysteries (Scraps of Paper, All Things Slip Away, Ghosts Beneath Us, Witches Among Us, What Lies Beneath the Graves, All Those Who Came Before, When the Fireflies Returned, Echoes of Other Times, Waiting Beyond the Veil, and Remember Those Once Loved.) are my best-sellers.

I was married to Russell (who passed away on August 27, 2021) for over forty-three years; have a son, two grandchildren, and a great granddaughter, and I live in a small quaint town in Illinois. I have a quirky cat, Sasha, and we live in an old house in the heart of town. Though I’ve been an artist, and a folk/classic rock singer in my youth with my late brother Jim, writing has always been my greatest passion, my butterfly stage, and I’ll probably write stories until the day I die…or until my memory goes.
