4.25 stars. This novella is dual POV, well written, and a funny, sweet and steamy, dragon shifter/human, fake relationship romance. I empathised with Pine’s lack of interest in romance, given his situation, and enjoyed seeing him open up to Neve. I enjoyed Neve’s willingness to try something different. I enjoyed their relationship development, and their intimate moments. I enjoyed Pine’s sister and hope she gets her own story. I received a complimentary copy of this book.

I liked this most of this story. Neve does not care for the holidays so winning trip sounds wonderful. Lord Pine has so much on his plate and needs a date to keep the matchmaker at bay. So he uses the Intergalactic dating agency for a date. I liked the first time they met. Neve had not been told what was really going on. So her shocked reaction was expected. They kinda get to know each other and this is where the story breaks down somewhat. I liked the concept but the interaction between them is minimal. You don't feel their connection. There is some drama and an unexpected enemy. This was a quick afternoon read. I received a free copy of this book via Booksprout and am voluntarily leaving a review.

This is a short read. This is Neve and Pine's story. What happens when you think you won a trip to winter wonderland, but end up some where else? Pine does not want a mate , but he has to bring a date to the ball. So he hires someone to find a person to go with him. What will happen when Neve and Pine meet? Will she join him to the ball? Will she also join him to the New Year celebration? Can they get to know each other? Will more come of it?. I received a free copy of this book via Booksprou
