This story is really not for impressionable little kids. A poor girl first given away by her father to the King, without her consent. Then the King locks her up and threatens to kill her if she doesn't turn straw into gold. He threatens her not once but thrice. Then comes the evil, little man who helps her in return for first her jewelry then her first born. Frankly, I hated the king more than the main baddy. That's the story in a nutshell. I can't figure out what this story is trying to teach kids.

For kids (till 8) it's really good. Though when I was a kid, I had read a better version of this story with more beautiful and impressive illustrations and rhyme in the last song of Rumpelstilskin was better.

I was searching for free book and I got this and it showed ₹0 so I tapped add net banking it asked details i answered and it came you booked successful after that it came read i tapped read it came to install some app i tapped on install that app it came sorry not possible so request you to not install or buy this book
