About this ebook

From throne room to bedroom, I'm royally screwed...

As a prince and head of security, I’ve lived my life behind the scenes. I’m Prince Sandor Gustaffson, the silent guardian of my family, sworn to protect them at any cost. But when I’m thrust back into the spotlight after years in the shadows, my focus shifts to a new mission.

One I’m not ready for.

Lennox Briggs. The first woman to join our elite security team, and a walking temptation. She’s everything I shouldn’t want. Too dedicated, too smart, and too off-limits.

From the moment she is assigned to my detail, she’s all I can think about. With the country in crisis and my family depending on me, getting involved with Lennox could ruin everything.

But what happens when protecting her becomes more important than protecting the crown?

Sandor started as obnoxious, sexist, arrogant and condescending. So much that one can't wait seeing him taken down a peg or two. But it comes with the territory of protecting and keeping safe the family for years, a family and the woman that can never be his. Outside looking in, he was part of them but don't really belong. Pathetic for a forty year old who doesn't have someone he can really call his own. He was a good bodyguard but a coward when it comes to relationships, always making the job his excuse and priority. It would have been better if this story was a menage with erik and casey and his problems would be solved since he would be with them, forever the third wheel. But since it wasn't it would have been nicer if he had groveled a little bit more, with all the jerking around he led her on.

I received this Arc in exchange for a fair and honest review! And I absolutely loved it!!! Its the story of the royal family of a small European country. Sandor is best friend and cousin to the King and its his job to ensure that the King and his family are safe. Lennox is the new protective detail for the queen and a strong, fierce woman. The story is fast paced, dual pov's which I love and very hot. I got the impression that this was a follow up to another series, I'm not sure. First read from this author, but not the last!!!
