Fast-paced and action-packed! Cash is trying to keep Elena safe from a drug cartel, but she keeps running headlong back into danger to rescue her young brother from becoming their newest recruit. This story is one intense action scene after another, with compelling characters and ripped-from-the-headlines realism. The entire story takes place in less than a week, so the HEA, while battle-tested, is still somewhat abrupt. Even so, Cash and Elena prove to be a remarkable team as they rely on each other through some very dangerous situations and bring a solid sense of justice to every level of evil they encounter. I honestly couldn't put this book down once I started it, finishing it in less than a day. It's an easy one to recommend for anyone who enjoys suspense and action filled contemporary romances. I volunteered to read and review an advanced readers copy of K-9 Security . This is the first in a new series and it's sensational . It's action packed and Suspenseful very intriguing . Elana Navarro is trying to protect her eight year old brother Daniel and escape when their small town is attacked by the Sangre por Sangre Cartel . When they drag Daniel away and attempt to take her she's rescued by Cash Meyers who works for Socorro Security . Cash and Elana with help from his K-9 partner work together to rescue Daniel and stop the cartel . I really enjoyed reading this story . I highly recommend taking the time to read .

Elena Navarro is trying to protect her brother Daniel as cartel attacks their town. Cash and his dog Bear come to her rescue but not before the damage is done to the town. Elena and Cash both have a lot of history/baggage related to the cartel but decide they should work together. The more time they spend together the more they open up and begin to heal. This romantic suspense will have you not wanting to stop even when you get to the end and you want more.
