This new series sure did start off with a big bang. So much action throughout this whole story. It’s not an easy book to read but it is a wonderful start to what will certainly be a must read for any fan of this talented author.

Elena Navarro is trying to protect her brother Daniel as cartel attacks their town. Cash and his dog Bear come to her rescue but not before the damage is done to the town. Elena and Cash both have a lot of history/baggage related to the cartel but decide they should work together. The more time they spend together the more they open up and begin to heal. This romantic suspense will have you not wanting to stop even when you get to the end and you want more.

What a captivating intro to a new series. Action, danger, and pulse-pounding suspense right out the gate, drawing me into this new world as Cash and Elena's worlds collide. Mysteries to be solved, secrets revealed, and twists kept me engaged as the two partner up in the race to save her brother and lose their hearts along the way. Plus sweet, enduring dogs to save the day...how could you not love that? Cannot wait to meet and get to know more of the characters introduced.
