Meer oor hierdie e-boek

Mega-City One, 2101 AD. Psi-Judge Cassandra Anderson’s second year on the streets as a full-Eagle Judge.

There’s trouble brewing in the Eee-Zee Rest; biker gangs, kidnappings and riots are all pretty standard in Mega-City One, but the block is off-limits – the owner’s just too clean to investigate.

Seconded to another division, Anderson gets suspicious: something’s terrifying the residents, and it’s not your average perp or bouncer. When biker Vex returns a kidnap victim and asks Anderson for help, the Psi-Judge knows this is the opportunity she’s been looking for.

But the thing that lurks in the basement is something new. Something greedy. Something hungry.

Meer oor die skrywer

Danie Ware is a single working Mum with long-held interests in role-playing, re-enactment, vinyl art toys and personal fitness. She went to all all-boys' public school, has a halfway decent English degree, and spent most of her twenties clobbering her friends with an assortment of steel cutlery. These days, she juggles raising her son and writing books with working for Forbidden Planet (London) Ltd., where she runs their events calendar and social media profile – and has the original Judge Anderson inspiration-image behind her desk (no kidding). In those rare times when she's not writing, working, or on manoeuvres with her son, she usually falls over exhausted.

Danie is the author of the critically acclaimed Ecko series, out now from Titan Books and Children of Artifice, an urban fairy story, out from Fox Spirit Books She also writes Sisters of Battle for the Black Library, and has short stories published in numerous anthologies. She lives in Carshalton, south London, with her son and two cats. You can find her online at danieware.com or @danacea.
