This volume includes papers which are dedicated to studying the electrochemical properties and structural properties of nanoarrays and thin films. The study on the synthesis of thin films via the ash-gel method is presented. The application of various types of nanorods as gas sensors in biomedicine are shown. Moreover, several papers are devoted to studying nanocomposites' structural properties. Additionally, this volume is dedicated to surface modification methods used to improve steels' surface properties. This volume's target audience includes students, postgraduates in material science, scientists in the area of nanomaterials and thin films. The results can be used for better product manufacture in different areas.
