Touting this as a sequel to The Firm is a marketing gimmick. It could work just as well with any character other than Mitch McDeere. The connection to The Firm is superficial and unnecessary. While the pace is good, the twist that you might expect never materialised. Overall, an Okay read but John Grisham has stopped being in my "Must-Read" list long before The Exchange and I can clearly see why.
