Author Souza Gomes went through the experience of writing his first book, John Night: The Quantic Mystery. After its launch, it participated in literary competitions in Brazil and other Portuguese-speaking countries. With this work, he decides to enter another universe, different from the teenagers. The idea of penetrating the criminal world and, consequently, no branch of detective novels began with the author's indignation at his role as a citizen. When he saw that a society was complaining about someone struggling with their doubts, he decided to write about a "punisher" à la Brazilian. The book tells the story of a politically correct policeman, immersed in a world full of people of bad character, including his coworkers, with so much corruption and complete inertia of the institution he works for, that he decides to set up his own court. He creates his own rules of judgment and decides who should live or die. On the other side of the law, there's a hard-line judge who doesn't condone justice not being enforced. Regardless of whether the accused is accused of pedophilia or rape, he or she only sentences based on the material evidence. Fate will put these two men before them, and the result of that confrontation will culminate in a plot twist that will shake the words of the judiciary.
