About the author

Joel Spring, a native of western New York, is the author of Season of Obsession, The Ghosts of Autumn, and Thursday’s Bird, as well as countless sporting magazine articles. He has contributed to and Deer Hunting, Sports Afield, Fur–Fish–Game, and North American Whitetail. He lives in Ransomville, New York, with his wife, Joy, and their three dogs.
