Jochen Schmidt, geb. 1970, lebt als Schriftsteller in Berlin. Er hat sich mehrfach zu Sprachreisen in Russland aufgehalten und erhielt 2004 den Förderpreis zum Kasseler Literaturpreis für grotesken Humor. Zuletzt erschien sein Roman `Zuckersand ́.
