About this ebook

After a traumatic past, Stephanie Rosen has put her demons firmly behind her. Her revamped career as a pet photographer is blossoming and she’s finally ready to re-enter the dating world and rediscover her hibernating sensuality. Except there’s only one man she’ll consider for the role. And the Navy Surface Warfare Officer she has in mind has been on a ship halfway across the world for months on end… until now.

Lieutenant Daniel Murphy has never forgotten his one-night stand with Stephanie. Hell, her abduction was his personal call to serve. He’d do anything to help her out, yet how can he reprise his role as a no-strings-attached lover when his feelings for her are anything but casual? But with only twenty days of leave at his disposal, his personal life is all about short term. And Stephanie’s bid for sensual reawakening is very, very convincing. He just needs to use their steamy private alliance to show her what a formidable team operation they could become… forever.

A great evening read If you love a good second chance romance I recommend giving Daniel & Stephanie's story a read. She has fought very hard to bury the demons from her traumatic past. Her new business is booming & she's decided to dip her toes back in the dating scene. There's only one person she can think of & that's Danny. He spends many months away on a ship & he's only home for a brief visit. He has longed for her for years. Is she about to get more help then she bargained for?

Danny and Stephanie's story is the fifth and final book in the Murphy Brothers series. You can enjoy it as a standalone but it is connected to the other books in the series. Danny and Stephanie connected five years ago but went their separate ways. Danny joined the military right after Stephanie and his cousin were kidnapped. For Danny Stephanie is the one who got away so when she shows up looking for him he sees it as his chance to convince her they are more than a fling. Steamy and entertaining, their story wraps up the Murphy Brothers series. I received a free copy of this book via Booksprout and am voluntarily leaving a review.

I am such a sucker for a second chance. There are some couples who are better off apart, but Danny and Stephanie were definitely not one of those. There was so much chemistry between them, it kept them from finding happiness with anyone else, until it eventually brought them back together. There was a lot of emotional baggage this pair needed to unpack even though most of it had nothing to do with their time together. I enjoyed seeing how they navigated each other’s triggers
