Beverly B. Tyler is a Professor in the Poole College of Management at North Carolina State University. She applies behavioral theory in studies of decision-making and collaboration in cross-sector interdisciplinary partnerships. Her research has appeared in the Strategic Management Journal, Organization Science, Journal of Management Studies, Journal of Operations Management, Journal of Business Research, Journal of Product Innovation Management, and Journal of Engineering and Technology Management, among others.
Kathleen M. Vogel is an Associate Professor in the School of Public Policy at the University of Maryland at College Park. Her research focuses on studying the social and technical dimensions of bioweapons and emerging life science threats, the production of knowledge in intelligence assessments, and trends in human trafficking. Her work has kept close engagement between academia, intelligence, and policy. She is the author of one book and 24 articles on bioweapons policy issues and the production of knowledge in US intelligence.
Sharon M. B. Joines is a researcher and design educator focusing on human-centered design, and she has published 14 articles on collaboration. She is a North Carolina State University Faculty Scholar, Director of the Research in Ergonomics and Design (RED) Lab, a Professor of Industrial Design and Associate Dean for Academic Strategy for the College of Design. Her research focuses on transdisciplinary collaboration and exploring the interaction between individuals, products, and their environment.
