This was a very enjoyable read. The blend of romance and suspense is sharp and engaging. I was very quickly caught up in Lachlan and Maura's story. The action and emotions are plentiful and had me on the edge of my seat as it gave my heart a workout.

I’ve loved every book I’ve read by this author and Wind Valley is no exception. If you enjoy romance with a side of suspense to keep you on your toes, you can’t go wrong with any book in this series. This book is centered around Lachlan and Maura. I loved that he fell first. I won’t leave any spoilers, but I will say I loved reading about this couple that was made for each other. Grab your copy and see what happens. I received an advanced reader copy of this book and this is my voluntary

Returning to Firelight Ridge in Wind Valley was intriguing. We have animals acting strangely, a scary stalker (SS) and a romance all mixed together in a way only Jennifer Bernard could craft. I enjoyed the mystery of why the animals had unnatural behaviors which brings Maura and Lachlan together and how it causes them to trust each other even though they both have trust issues. I highly recommend this book and its twists and turns.
