About this ebook

The first graphic novel in an explosive new series based on the smash-hit RPG YouTube series by Dingo Doodles and Felix Irnich.

Have you ever sung karaoke so badly that you unleashed the apocalypse? Well, that’s an average day for the Fool’s Gold crew: a group of traveling magical rejects. Join the chaos of experiencing tabletop role-playing games with this group of chaotic friends and their even more chaotic characters as they dare to take on the world’s deadliest jungle known as the Bellowing Wilds. See them fall headfirst into triggering an apocalypse, tangle with a swamp witch, indulge in spa days, and deal with a rogue mechanical dragon. It will take intelligence, wisdom, and true bravery to survive this adventure…too bad they have none of these things. May the dice be on their side, ’cause they’re gonna need them!

About the author

Jenna “Dingo Doodles” Woldenga has been a storyteller and artist ever since she learned how to speak her first words and hold a crayon. She grew up in the Okanagan Valley in British Columbia, Canada, and started her artistic career immediately after graduating high school, producing a weekly webcomic series while attending the Guru Digital Arts College in Alberta. In 2018 she launched her YouTube channel Dingo Doodles, which was supposed to be a side hobby, but YouTube had different ideas and her videos soon garnered millions of views in record time and turned her hobby into a full-blown career. Her voice acting has since been featured in multiple animated shorts, as well as video games such as Solasta: Crown of the Magister.

Felix Irnich is a storyteller and entrepreneur based in Kelowna, British Columbia, Canada. He immigrated to Canada from Germany as a teenager in 2007 and soon developed a passion for business. His ventures include founding a distillery and a gelato factory, video game development, and now: Fool’s Gold. In 2020, he was recognized as Top 40 Under 40 at the young age of twenty-six. His style of storytelling makes him living proof that Germans have a sense of humor after all. He has been telling stories through Dungeons & Dragons for twelve years, and was the writer and game designer behind the Fools Gold: Into the Bellowing Wilds D&D campaign setting.

Christopher Hastings is a New York Times bestselling author of graphic novel series like InvestiGators: Agents of S.U.I.T. and Five Nights at Freddys. He’s the creator of The Adventures of Dr. McNinja and cocreator of Marvel’s Gwenpool. He’s played Dungeons & Dragons since when it was called Advanced Dungeons & Dragons, and you can listen to him do silly voices as the game master of the narrative play podcast Rude Tales of Magic.

Avery Howett is a Canadian storyteller and artist who has been passionate about three things ever since she was small: art, dinosaurs, and Halloween. Avery discovered her love for comics while attending a digital arts college in Alberta, Canada, and built her close friendship with Jenna Woldenga over their shared passion. She has since worked on multiple comic and graphic novel projects for over a decade. She also played Gothi in the Fool’s Gold Dungeons & Dragons campaign and went on to be the lead artist for the Fools Gold: Into The Bellowing Wilds D&D campaign setting, as well as the Fool’s Gold graphic novel series.

Princess Abella is a digital artist based in Canada with a background in animation. Before her studies in British Columbia, she discovered a passion for tabletop RPGs that sparked her creativity and set her on a path towards visual storytelling. After graduating, she brought her outstanding knack for color and design to the Fool’s Gold graphic novel series as the colorist for the series. In her free time, she has fun mining for diamonds in her silly block game.
