Javier de Viana (1868-1926) fue un escritor, periodista y político uruguayo. Participó en la Revolución del Quebracho junto al Partido Blanco y en la insurrección nacionalista de 1904. Fue colaborador en «La Verdad», «El Fogón» y «El País» de Uruguay y en «Caras y Caretas», «Atlántida», «El Hogar» y «Mundo Argentino» de Argentina.
