About the author

Janella Purcell is a qualified naturopath, nutritionist, herbalist and iridologist. She's also a vivacious and entertaining chef who has appeared regularly on Australian and overseas television for the past ten years, most recently co-hosting Good Chef Bad Chef.

Eating for the Seasons - her first, bestselling recipe book, published in 2011 - won the Gourmand World Cookbook Awards, Health and Nutrition category (Australia). It was followed in 2012 by her second recipe book, Janella's Wholefood Kitchen.

Janella has a private practice in both Sydney and the Byron Bay hinterland, where she educates clients on living healthier, happier and more sustainable lives.
