About this ebook

Two leaders in animal welfare share their conservation plan to protect animals and educate people on saving both animals and the environment.

“The Ten Commandments for the future of advanced life on our planet.” —Huston Smith, author of The World’s Religions

World-renowned behavioral scientists Jane Goodall and Marc Bekoff argue passionately and persuasively that if we put these ten trusts to work in our lives, the earth and all its inhabitants will be able to live together harmoniously. Simple yet profound, The Ten Trusts will not only change your perspective regarding how we live on this planet, it will also establish our responsibilities as a steward of the natural world, ultimately showing us how to live with respect for all life.

“A riveting treatise. . . . In deeply moving true-life stories of love and altruism . . .these two lucid scientists declare once and for all that animals do, as any close observer will attest, possess emotions and intelligence; they do feel pain. . . . An accessible, compelling, and important expose.” —Booklist

“This inspiring book brings together two notables of the animal welfare movement. . . . The result of their labor is a gift to those who care about the environment, animals, and people.” —Library Journal

“A powerful credo of compassion. May it stand alongside “The Earth Charter” as a revolutionary text for this century.” —Terry Tempest Williams, author of Leap
