Fun, funny, and quirky. Maggie, our reluctant hitwoman, tries to have a normal night out with her family and friends. Since it was organized by Armani, there isn't anything normal about their night out. Before long, Maggie is dodging crazy family members, ninjas, and a (maybe) dead body. I love the characters and how the author has made Maggie's ability to talk to animals seem normal. Add in her favorite mobster, his bodyguard, and her murder mentor detective ex, and the cast of characters is set and craziness ensues. If you enjoy your humor with a bit of paranormal and snark, you will love this book. The author is on my must read authors' list.
