About this ebook

She loved the accidental marriage trope in rom coms. In real life? Not so much…

All Justine Willet wanted was a night of fun to help her forget about her cheating scumbag of an ex-boyfriend.

In retrospect, attending the Monster Match probably wasn’t a good idea. Neither was the impromptu road trip to Vegas.

But while there, drinks were consumed. Accidents happened. MONSTER mistakes were made.

Which is how she ended up with the mother of all hangovers…and married to her giant orc co-worker.

Khill was grumpy. Antisocial. Unfairly hot. And once upon a time, he friend zoned her in a big way.

So, why is he suddenly so reluctant to annul their drunken marriage?

Justine has no idea. But she’s starting to wonder if walking away from Khill would be an even bigger mistake than their accidental wedding…

Monster Mistake, book 3 in the Sanity Falls series, is a light, low angst, lightly spicy monster romance novella that can be read as a standalone. It’s full of witty, snarky banter, has no 3rd act breakup, and features a grumpy heroine and the even grumpier orc hero of her dreams. Grab your copy today, and welcome to Sanity Falls!

Monster Mistake is refreshing, elevating and invigorating - a perfect palette cleanser while being everything I'd hoped for, after loving other books by this author. Ms Jordan has superbly delivered on the promise that is the previous two books in the Sanity Falls series, with another perfect pairing, this time a fun grumpy/grumpy relationship. Justine and Khill play off each other in a way that kept me turning pages and loving the dialogue....even when they both struggled to say what was in their hearts - "Why he couldn’t seem to tell her that he wanted to stay married, he had no idea. He kept opening his mouth to say it and…nothing came out.". I love a character who is a softie when it comes to animals so I immediately warmed to the MC's, especially as they both get along better with animals than humans - "...he had a kind, gentle soul when it came to animals and anyone in need. Sure, he was grumpy. Hell, so was she."!!! There is a brief appearance by the found family element, so another plus for me. The romance arc was very well played out, particularly considering the brevity of the book. It felt so comfortable and real, with a mix of comedic and spicy moments . There was a hurdle to be overcome, which again was well done and really entertaining to watch. The epilogue offered a lovely HEA, in keeping with what I pictured for these two. So to sum up - I love spending time in this world when characters like Justine and Khill are there to keep me riveted to each scene, fascinated with their verbal sparring and growing connection. The author's punchy, humourous, polished and engrossing writing made sure the story was perfectly wrapped up with a figurative bow. Here's hoping for more!
